China Client Services Director

MISSION


To be responsible for the growth and management of the Chinese marketing division of the Verb Brands group whilst working alongside the directors of the group.


OUTCOMES


Team Development

  • The Chinese Marketing Division is built, led and inspired to deliver on Verb’s China revenue, margin and client satisfaction targets. 

  • Have a network of potential candidates to support future growth of the department, hiring the best talent in the industry by working with the People & Culture team to recruit a team that drive the Division forward

  • Through clear management the team are developed and progressed in line with the Verb Brand standards, enabling them to  deliver the best work of their careers.


Client Management, Retention & Growth


  • Strong relationships are built with our senior clients, acting as the strategic point of contact

  • Grow, upsell, cross sell and develop accounts across the agency year on year

  • By working alongside the Directors of the business,  all Commercial targets are met

  • New opportunities are identified and the Client Services Director, China, works with the New Business team, to lead those opportunities, where necessary

  • Client Satisfaction Survey strategy is implemented to ensure that clients are getting the service that they need across all service lines and implement strategies to improve services and Survey scores, which the Client Services Director runs on a regular basis.

  • The core escalation point for big accounts, dealing with any situation in a calm, considered manner resulting in a positive outcome for both the client and team

  • All client services activity accords to best practice, working with the team leads to help identify and present new opportunities where possible

  • Deliver strategic recommendations for growth through knowledge gained by continuously monitoring industry news and evaluating new technology & data providers



New Business & Marketing


  • New business opportunities are well researched and prepared for via a  deep understanding of the market, business, challenges and opportunities.

  • Compelling proposals that strategically help our clients are created.

  • Successful pitches are delivered alongside  the directors,demonstrating our capabilities as an agency towards the Chinese market with our luxury expertise.

  • Terms, fees, timeframes are agreed, alongside a director,  ensuring a profitable and well managed client.

  • The sales and accounts team at Verb have reliable support in both growing accounts and pitching for new work with your support.

  • The Marketing team are supported to promote our services in the most effective manner possible.

  • A Verb Brands presence is provided at day to day networking, events and thought leadership marketing that Verb do.



Project Management

  • Clear best practice processes for onboarding new clients are developed, implemented and refined

  • Oversee the creation and negotiation of Scopes of Work (SOW), ensuring appropriate input from both the client and internal teams.

  • Oversee client and internal kick-offs, ensuring all parties understand the needs and goals of the project, and how they each contribute to them.

  • Implement mechanisms that allow you to maintain oversight over client accounts and projects.


Growth & Thought Leadership

  • Monitor industry news and movements in technology to deliver strategic recommendations for growth

  • Work alongside the directors of the group through regular meetings and structured growth meetings to learn how to run and operate a business with a view of building a 2m turnover department with 25% profit within two years.
